Papadatos Biography
DIONISIOS PAPADATOS was born in Zakynthos in 1937 .He begun his studies in painting in 1958 , when he first went to Athens .At that time he worked in different open studios , particularly in the open studio of artist Theodoros Drosos , for three years .
He is a member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts .His works from part of the Athens Univercity School , of the Archaeology art collection of Giorgos Kostopoulos art collection; they are exhibited in galleries throughout Europe .
Since 2002 he lives and works in his birthplace , Zakynthos , where he has been inspired and has created his most recent works , metallic mural constructs.At Zakynthos he founded Cultural Center "KRYPTI" in 2001 .He has curated the exhibition "Modern Greek Painting and Sculpture" at Zakynthos' Museum in which one of his own paintings was also on display .
